Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update:
Information update as at 02.07.20
Toronto Private Hospital continues to meet the mental health needs of patients without interruption to our hospital's capacity and operations. We have private mental health inpatient beds, day programs, outpatient appointments and doctors available.
Visitation policy:
In the interests of our patients, staff and visitors Toronto Private Hospital's visitation policy is regularly changing. We recommend that visitors call the day prior to their intended visit to learn the current visiting hours.

Be aware that our patients may be susceptible to any respiratory illness. If you are unwell for any reason, please consider calling on the phone or returning when you are well.
If you or a close household member:
- have come into contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 and / or
- you develop a fever or respiratory illness like symptoms you must follow the advice of public health authorities AND
DO NOT ENTER THE HOSPITAL OR VISIT OUR PATIENTS FOR 14 DAYS
Please be aware of the signs and symptoms of the COVID-19 illness (infection).
Common signs of the illness (infection) include a high fever and respiratory symptoms (a cough, shortness of breath, runny nose, tiredness and breathing difficulties). In more severe cases, the infection can cause pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure etc.
If you develop signs and symptoms of this illness please contact your GP or nearest public hospital emergency department immediately

Is smoking or vaping allowed at Toronto Private Hospital?
In accordance with government legislation, smoking and vaping is prohibited on Toronto Private Hospital grounds, and a five metre buffer beyond our boundary. This applies to all patients, visitors and staff at all times and includes all smoking products including regular cigarettes, e-cigarettes and vapes. Please observe no smoking signage around our hospital grounds, as NSW Health can issue on the spot fines to people in breach of this legislation.
Is there accommodation close to the hospital?
There are two accommodation options close to the hospital:
Can I bring gifts into the hospital?
Toronto Private Hospital does not have a florist on site. However the following florists are located in close proximity to the hospital, and they can also deliver flowers to the hospital. The use of these florists is at your discretion.
